SOME DETAILS ABOUT NEWBORN SESSIONS...

Newborn sessions are done in the first 2-3 weeks, preferably. This is when baby is still really sleepy! I can certainly work with newborns beyond 3 weeks, it's a little more challenging, but possible!

Sometimes, it's tricky and requires a lot of patience & waiting. Sessions are around 2 hours, give or take. This is not something that can be rushed, whether in-home. Baby still needs to feed, have diaper changes, be settled back in to sleep and so on. Sessions are best in the late morning, and unless otherwise discussed I like to start my sessions at 10AM. Baby just tends to be a little more content in the mornings, and if we're doing in-home I definitely want that light coming through the windows!

Each session is unique--just as you and your family are. I listen to what you have in mind, we bounce around ideas & I make a plan. I also send out a questionnaire prior to our session & stay in communication with all the info/tips you need to know for our time to be as laid-back & stress-free as possible.

I am local to Metro Detroit, and travel up to homes within 40 miles of Grosse Ile for sessions. If you or your preferred location are outside of this radius I charge a nominal fee depending on distance.
